Chinese Tourist Purse Snatched In Pattaya

Pattaya thief who rode up alongside a female Chinese tourist snatched her purse and fled the scene. She then quickly notified the police who sent officers out to hunt for him but he had disappeared.

PATTAYA – July 15, 2014 [Pattaya Daily News]: Miss Min Shu, 21 year old Chinese tourist with her friends went to the police station to notify to Pol.Lt.Col. Kriangkraiwut Buakla, that her purse had been snatched, on Mom Luang Chuenjai junction, or Mum Aroy junction, Pattaya third road, North Pattaya.

From the initial investigation the girl said that while she was walking with friends there, there was a man riding a grey-black motorcycle but didn’t know the license plate number rode along side her and snatched her purse, containing 20,000 baht cash, 1,000 Yuan cash, and some documents before fleeing the scene. The police then broadcasted via the police radio for officers to look out for the thief and arrest him, but unfortunately there was no sign of him on the route he had taken to escape. The police then wrote the details of the crime in their journal and hoped to catch him soon.
