Chinese Skimmer Gang ArrestedA Chinese skimmer gang have been arrested by Thai police.
BANGKOK-Recently- Mr.Lu Zue Zhian and 5 men from China were caught by police for skimming electronic ATM cards, the police officers caught them with 182 electronics cards, 6 electronic card readers, tooling to make faked cards, 3 laptops and 11 passports. Previously, police were notified from a bank that someone had used a fake card to buy gold in a department store in Rajadhamri district. After that the police officers investigated it and arrested the gang.
Pol.Col.Panthana Nutchanart- deputy superintendent of Central police- revealed that the Chinese Gang had travelled to Thailand on tourist visas and they used the skimmed cards of Chinese victims to buy things such as gold and diamonds. It’s expected that the damage cost was around 180 million baht. They had been in Thailand for 8 months and came via the Laos border which they had done 10 times before.
