Children Visit U-Tapao International AirportNational Children’s Day 2016 has seen U-Tapao International Airport, Rayong province to open its doors for an air show.
RAYONG – January 9th 2016 [Pattaya Daily News]; at U-Tapao International Airport, Tambon Phla, Amphur Ban Chang, Rayong province, Rear Admiral. Lue-chai Sri-aimkul (Commander-in-Chief of Naval Air Division, Royal Thai Fleet) had arranged an air show of 6 different types of aircrafts which consisted of a CL-215, F-27 MK 400, A7, AV-8, fighter planes and helicopters of the Royal Thai Navy.
Admiral Lue-chai Sri-aimkul (Commander-in-Chief of Naval Air Division, Royal Thai Fleet) said that the military had also arranged anti-aircraft guns 37 mm. with 311 B radar from the 1st Antiaircraft Artillery Regiment of Air and Coastal Defend Command, amphibious vehicles (AAV) and armoured cars from Royal Thai Marine Corps for adults and children. Moreover, there was skydiving, army dogs and various military operations. Besides, there were many booths of various exhibitions for the adults and children to look at on National Children’s Day.
