Checkpoints Set up In Pattaya

Pattaya officials have set up various checkpoints around the city to keep people safe after the recent attacks in Paris.

PATTAYA- November 19th 2015 – [PattayaDailyNews] Mr.Pichet Thamhone- deputy chief of Bang lamung- was accompanied with Pol.Col.Suktad Pumpanmuang- superintendent of Pattaya-, Pol.Lt.Col.Kowit Sawasmongko- inspector of Pattaya police station-, Maj.Col.Somkiet Suemklang- chief of the 14th military circle to setup checkpoints to crackdown on criminal behaviour and to keep people safe on the Thappraya road.

 

This was ordered for the peace of mind of the people and to clamp down on people who extorted others.

 

Mr.Pihet revealed that he ordered the officers to setup checkpoints on the local roads in order to inspect suspicious vehicles and people. They focused on finding drugs and firearms. Upon inspection the police officers didn’t find anything illegal.
