Cars And Bank Truck Collide On Chonburi Bypass, One Man Seriously Injured

A serious accident occurred between 3 vehicles, including a money transport, on the Chonburi Bypass. All vehicles were severely damaged and one Thai man was taken to hospital for emergency treatment.

Sriracha, 1 December 2010 (PDN): A serious traffic accident occurred  on bypass number 7, section 3, Km.39 route, Moo5, Surasak District, Sriracha, Chon Buri. A money transport from Krung Thai Bank had hit the back of a green Mercedez Benz that belonged to a foreign business man and driven by a Thai man, Mr. Udom Lorsiriphat [49].

Mr. Lorsiriphat claimed that they were on their way to a meeting in Pattaya when he noticed a white Isuzu pick traveling at high speed in the left lane trying cross into the middle lane. The Krung Thai bank truck, which was just in front,  suddenly lost control and ended up on its right side. Mr. Lorsiriphat tried to avoid the truck, but without success, and it hit the rear end of his car causing extensive damage.

In addition, the pick up, driven by Mr. Somwang Sributdee [34], had overturned and hit a traffic island, causing Mr. Sributdee to be severely injured whilst a passenger (Mr. Sributdee’s colleague) received minor injuries.

Subsequently, the Phiew Yiang Thai Rescue Foundation transferred Mr. Sributdee’s body to Somdet Hospital, Sriracha for emergency treatment.
