Car-Motorbike Accident: Younger Sister Died

A younger sister fell off the bike and was crashed by the incoming car, when her older sister swerved the bike trying to avoid a parked motorcycle on the side road.

Pattaya, 22nd March 2011 [Pattaya Daily News]: At 9 p.m, Police Lieutenant Captain, Wirat Tedtong of Banglamung Police Department, Chonburi was informed that there has been a road accident taken place in the area of Noenplubwan Soi, near Suansuwattana Village, Moo. 6, Nongprue, Banglamung, Chonburi. The police hurried to the scene with the paramedics from Sawang Somboon Foundation.

At the scene, the police discovered the body of Miss Nisai Srimad, a 20-year-old working as a 7-11 shop assistant (resides at 50 Moo.2 Sritrakoon, Khukhan, Srisaket). Next to the victim was her older sister, Miss Sriampai Srimad, aged 25, who was weeping over the victim’s body. About 10 meters distance away from the crime scene, the police found a white car (Mazda II, registered plate number 4563, Chonburi), which has a slightly damaged bumper on the right side. The driver of the car was Mr. Suwapit Ruangpipakkul, a 32-year-old mobile phone shop owner at U-Mae Soi. (resides at 205/4 Moo.5, Nongprue, Banglamung, Chonburi)

The victim’s older sister stated that she was riding the red and black motorbike (Yamaha Fino, registered plate number Ngor-Tor-Bor 686, Chonburi) with the victim at the back as the passenger. Both were on their ways to work at 7-11 shop, Bangkok-Pattaya Hospital Branch. When they were riding near the scene, they saw another bike parked on the side road. She swerved the bike slightly to avoid parked bike. Unfortunately, the younger sister fell off the bike and was hit by the incoming car from the other side of the road, crashing her dead instantly.

The body was taken to Banglamung Hospital and the officer contacted the victim’s relatives. They planned to continue the investigation.
