Car Crashes into Pickup Truck in Banglamung, Chonburi

Pattaya, June 27, 2011 (PDN), Pol.Maj. Kriangkaiwut Buakla, Pattaya Police was informed of a collision between a passenger car and a pickup truck near the Ford showroom in Nongprue, Banglamung. The injured passengers were stuck iside the vehicles. The police rushed to the scene along with the rescue team of Sawangboriboon Foundation.

At the scene, a foreign man, aged 55-60, the driver of Honda City, registered Kor-or 3740 Chonburi, was stuck inside the car. He was given the first aid and taken to the Krung Thep-Pattaya hospital. 50 Meters away from the Honda City the pickup truck, Mitsubishi Triton, registration: Kor-Ror 4720 Songkhla with the injured passengers, five adults and four children. The two injured children were given the first aid and taken to Banglamung hospital.

Mr Hudsan Samud, 44, the pickup driver reported that while he was heading to Sutthahip, the Honda City hit him from the rear and he lost balance of his truck. Crashed, leading to the injury of the passengers.

The police examined and recorded the evidence at the scene. Further investigations with both drivers will be conducted.
