Car Crashes into A Electric Pylon Causing Fatalities in Pattaya

Two cars had raced along a road, before one car ran out of control and crashed into a motorcycle and then hit an electrical post, unfortunately killing the driver and his passenger.

PATTAYA- January 2,2015 [Pattaya Daily News]; at 00.10 am Pol.Lt.Col.Chalermkiet Sirimak-inspector of Pattaya police station- was notified that a car had crashed into a motorcycle and also an electrical post. After notification the police officers and Sawang Borriboon rescue team immediately rushed to the scene.


At the scene, officials found a Honda Civic car crashed into the post and the wall. Upon inspecting they found Mr.Watchara Kuanbamrung aged 20 the driver had died as a result of the crash and MR.Sitthichai Prempluem aged 19 severely injured in the passenger seat. The rescue team performed first aid on him before sending him to Bangkok-Pattaya hospital. Unfortunately, he later died due to his injuries.

In addition, the officials found a Yamaha Spark motorcycle in the road and a motorcyclist who was slightly injured. The officials performed first aid on the motorcyclist before sending to Bang Lamung hospital.


Upon questioning Mr.Satid Moonsup aged 49 said that 2 cars had raced along the road and the car turned into the middle lane and crashed into the motorcycle which caused the motorcyclist to fall down onto the road, the car ran out of control and crashed into the post and wall at high speed.


The reporters revealed that there were 5 deceased from the accident during 4 days of 7 dangerous days of Thai New Year.
