Car Collides With Pick-Up Truck

A 43-year-old man who jumped a set of traffic lights was killed instantly after being hit by a pick-up truck. Also at the scene were another 2 injured victims.

CHON BURI – September 22nd 2015 [Pattaya Daily News]; at 2.00 a.m., Pol.Lt. Yutthaphon Boonkerd (Inquiry official of Banglamung police station, Chon Buri province) was notified that there was an accident involving a pick-up truck which had collided with a car injuring 2 killing 1. The incident occurred along the edge of railway near Krathing Lai temple, Moo 6 Tambon Nong Pla Lai, Amphur Banglamung, Chon Buri province. After notification they rushed to the scene.

At scene the officers found a bronze Toyota Vigo pick-up truck which was severely damaged and the driver was identified as Mr. Kredkaew Sonachot, aged 43, from Kalasin, he had sustained injuries to his chest. Also at the scene was a black Nissan March car which was severely damaged, there was an unidentified female victim who was injured and the deceased driver who was identified as Mr. Meth Chotiphanang aged 42. The injured were then sent to Banglamung hospital for treatment.

Upon inspecting the scene the police perceived that before incident occurred Mr. Meth (deceased) was driving towards the traffic lights which were out of order and crossed the road in front of him when he was hit by the pickup truck killing him instantly and injuring the other two. The police then took photos for evidence and recorded the incident and will investigate the accident in more detail to find the real cause.
