Car Collides With Garbage Truck On Pattaya Beach Road

A car which lost control on Pattaya beach road collided into the back of a garbage truck. It’s expected the cause of accident was the slippery road.

PATTAYA – September 21, 2014 [Pattaya Daily News]; at 04.30 am Pol.Lt.Pattarasa Detpakkul-investigation inspector of Pattaya police station-was notified that a car had lost control and crashed into a garbage truck on Pattaya beach road in front of the Tropicana hotel, Central Pattaya. After notification the police officers and Sawang Borriboon rescue team immediately rushed to the scene.

 

At the scene was Toyota Wish which had crashed into a 6 wheeled garbage truck. Inside the car was a Mr.Sarawut Charoenpongnawin aged 35 who was trapped inside and was severely injured. Upon questioning Mr.Sombat Kamjad aged 44 the garbage truck driver he revealed that he and his men were collecting garbage around beach road and he parked the truck on the edge of the road so they could empty the bin when suddenly a car crashed into the back of the truck.

Mr.Sompod Pimjan aged 27 one of the dustmn who was on the back of the truck said that he was working when he saw the car coming so he shouted to his work colleagues to run for their lives before the car hit the truck.

 

The officials had inspected the scene and recorded the incident. It’s expected that the driver ran out of control because of the slippery road. However the police officers investigate the matter further to find the real cause of the accident.
