Car and Motorbike Collision in Pattaya Biker Killed Instantly

A collision between a car and a motorbike on Pattaya 3 Road resulted in the death of the motorbike rider.

Pattaya, July 8, 2011, (PDN) Pol.Maj. Kriangkriwut Buakla, Pattaya Police was informed of a collision between a car and a motorbike which resulted in the death of the biker. The accident took place on Pattaya 3 Road in Nongprue. The police team and Sawangboriboon rescue team rushed to the scene. On arrival, the police found a Toyota Camry vehicle, registration Chor-Sor 1102 Bangkok. The car’s bumper and windshield were broken. About 100 meters away from the vehicle, the police found a Honda Novasonic Motorbike, registration Khor-Mor-Ror 282 Chonburi and the body of the motorbike rider, Mr Apisak Jiratkul, 35, address 408/16 Moo 4, Naklue, Banglamung, Chonburi, His limbs were broken and his body was bruised. The rescue team tried to save his life but failed.

Mr Suchart Peangtrakulcharoena ,45, address 7/22 Moo.9, Napa, Chonburi, the driver of the vehicle reported to the police that while he was heading to Pattaya court, the victim who looked drunk was riding his motorbike at high speed and lost control of his motorbike which crossed the opposite lane and collided with his car.

The police did not believe the suspect as they were reported by the witnesses that the suspect drove his car at high speed and crossed to the opposite lane leading to the collision and death of the motorbike rider.

The suspect was charged with carless driving leading to the death of another person and was detained for further questioning.
