Cambodian Worker kills Friend

A Cambodian male construction worker was assaulted and killed by his friend after they had been drinking. The victim had his throat slit and suffered many stab wounds.

PATTAYA – May 29,2015 [Pattaya Daily News]; at 12.10 a.m., Pol.Col. Sukthas Phoomphanmuang (Superintendent of Pattaya city police station) and Pol.Lt. Phutthiphong Chuenchom (Inquiry official on duty of Pattaya city police station) together with the rescue team of Sawang Boriboon Tharmma Satharn Rescue Foundation, Pattaya city, rushed to inspect a dead victim at the Harbor Pattaya construction project which is located on central Pattaya road, Moo 9 Tambon Nong Prue, Amphur Banglamung, Chon Buri province.

 

At the scene the officers found a deceased identified as Mr. Well Nuan, aged 26, Cambodian nationality. He had a slit throat and many stab wounds all over his body.

 

Upon initial investigation, the police perceived that at approximately 6.00 p.m. after Mr. Well (deceased) finished work he sat drinking with his Cambodian co-worker but nobody knew whether he was the one that killed him. Therefore, the police took him to Pattaya city police station to be questioned further.

 

The reported also said that while he was taking photographs of the scene the camp caretaker ordered a security guard to expel him and also told him to delete all the photographs that he had taken.

 

In addition this camp has a lot of illegal workers and immigration should inspect all the workers there to make sure they have work permits because these camps are always having problems with fights, disputes and murders.
