Cambodian Security Guard Has Phone Stolen In Pattaya

A Thai man who borrowed a mobile phone off a security guard to call his friend jumped onto the back of a friend motorbike and fled the scene with the phone.

PATTAYA – September 3, 2014 [Pattaya Daily News]; at 04.00 am Pol.Capt.Thanasith Kaenlem-deputy inspector of Pattaya police station- rushed to a Village Shopping, Restaurants & Entertainment area after he was notified that there had been a robbery there.

 

At the scene he found Mr Somchai aged 20 a Cambodian security guard waiting for the police. He told the police that a Thai man who was approximately 170 cm tall wearing a black shirt, white jeans and slippers borrowed his Nokia mobile phone which was worth about 3,000 baht. The man told Mr.Somchai that he needs to call his friend to pick him up because he had been left behind. He then walked away from Mr.Somchai before getting on the back of a motorcycle which his friend was riding and quickly fled the scene.

 

Pol.Capt.Thanasith revealed that the police officers had tracked them and they found them but they left the motorbike before running in Soi Bedman alley, South Pattaya. Initially the police officers confiscated the motorcycle in order to search for the owner.
