Cambodian Security Guard Attacked In Pattaya

A Cambodian security guard was attacked by 3 Cambodian men after they teased him about his uniform.

PATTAYA – September 30, 2014 [Pattaya Daily News]; at 00.30 am Pol.Lt.Jakkrit Jantakam-inspector of Pattaya police station-was notified that a security guard had been attacked and was injured. After notification the police officers rushed to the scene.

 

At the scene the officials found Mr.Duen Thongsuk a 32 year old Cambodian security guard who had been stabbed and slashed on his arms and back by 3 men. Initially the rescue team performed first aid on him before sending him to Bang Lamung hosiptal.

The 3 men who attacked the guard fled to a nearby labour camp so about 30 police officers tracked them and found one of them trying to flee into the woods. He was quickly arrested and was identified as a Mr Vee a 20 year old Cambodian and was caught with 3 knives.

 

Upon questioning the injured man he told the police that the 3 Cambodian attackers teased him about his uniform which led to them arguing and then the 3 attacked him.

 

Initially the police officers took MR.Vee to police station in order to prosecute him for attempted murder and also the police are hunting the rest of Cambodians who attacked the victim.
