Cambodian Maid Gives Birth In Car In Pattaya

A Cambodian maid of one well-known hotel in Pattaya gave birth in a car whilst on the way to hospital.

PATTAYA – December 2, 2014 [Pattaya Daily News]; rescuers of the Sawang Boriboon Tharmma Satharn Foundation, Pattaya city were notified that there was a young woman who had given birth near the Dolphin roundabout (traffic circle), north Pattaya, so they immediately coordinated with Banglamung hospital and rushed to the scene together with a team of doctors.

 

At the incident the officers found a white Honda Jazz, license no. Khor Thor 6131 Chon Buri, and a young woman identified as Miss Niang, aged 25, from Cambodia. She had given birth to a baby boy on the back seat of the car. Therefore, the officers of Banglamung hospital assisted her and her newborn baby before sending them to Banglamung hospital.

 

Mr. Amnart Charoenprakorb, aged 43, who is a personnel manager of the Golden Beach Hotel, said that he had been informed that a hotel maid was going to give birth so he tried to get her to Banglamung hospital as quick as possible but when they reached the Dolphin roundabout it was too late and she gave birth in the car so he called for assistance from the rescue team.
