Cambodian Jumps To His Death off Mueang Pattaya hospital

A Cambodian man who was stressed because he was suffering from HIV and lung cancer jumped off the Mueang Pattaya hospital killing him instantaly.

PATTAYA – November 19, 2014 [Pattaya Daily News]; at 1.30 a.m., Pol.Lt. Sombat Kaewmulmuk (Inquiry official of Pattaya city police station) was notified that there was a victim who had jumped off a building and had died. The incident occurred in Mueang Pattaya hospital which was located in Soi Bua Khao, Moo 9 Tambon Nong Prue, Amphur Banglamung, Chonburi province, so he rushed to inspect the scene.


At an incident on the pavement behind the hospital the police team found the body of a Mr. Aryong, aged 28 from Cambodian. His wrists hand be tied together with a green cloth.


Upon questioning a hospital officer he said that Mr. Aryong (a deceased) was a patient with HIV and lung cancer and he had been in hospital for 2 days. He often went mad and acted in a crazy manner therefore the hospital officers had to tie his arms and legs together a cloth until. Then a security guard informed that he had jumped to his death off the building.


Pol.Lt. Sombat revealed that the hospital officers had separated Mr. Aryong to stay at a critical illness control room which was on the 3rd floor and there was no one to watch over him during the night time. The cause of this incident might be due to him being extremely stressed so he decided to jump to his death.
