Businessman FollowedA Pattaya market owner wanted protection from the police after someone was following him.
PATTAYA – July 12,2015 [PattayaDailyNews]; Mr.Suppakrit Akkalertlap aged 61 made a statement that he needed the police officers to protect him. On 3rd July, Pol.Lt.Col.Kwanpichai Manocharoensap and Pol.Lt.Rapeepong Sarape went to the Grand Hall market to crack down on pirated goods and they were attacked by the vendors.
Later Mr Suppakrit noticed that he had been followed by a suspicious car to his house and he was afraid that his family was at risk. As a result, he decided to notify the police. The police officers investigated the and found out that the car that followed him belonged by a policeman.
M.Suppakrit revealed that he didn’t attack the police and on the incident day he was told by a vendor that some men were pretending to be police to extort money from the vendors so the rushed to the scene where he found the men who had no police ID cards. He asked them if they were police or not but they didn’t reply which caused him to get really angry. One of the men put him in a neck hold before the other vendors attacked the police.
