Burmese Man Accidentally Shot After Intervening

A Burmese man who tried to intervene with 2 Thai men who were arguing was accidentally shot after they started shooting at each other.

PATTAYA – March 13,2015 [Pattaya Daily News]; at 00.10 am Pol.Maj.Col.Sarunpong Maithongkul-inspector of Pattaya police station- was notified by Bang Lamung hospital staff that a Burmese man had been shot and injured at a labour camp of Worrakit construtction company. After notification the police officers went to inspect.

 

At the hospital the officers found Mr.Ou aged 21 from Myanmar who was a labourer who had been shot in the right arm.

 

Upon questioning Mrs.Midtra who is a Burmese labourer she revealed that the man had drunk alcohol in the camp, later he spotted 2 Thai labourers who were arguing so he tried to intervene. The Thai men started shooting at each other and he was accidentally shot injured.
