Burmese Heroin Dealer ArrestedPolice of Nong Prue police station have arrested a Burmese man sold heroin to the Chinese tour guides.
PATTAYA – December 22nd 2015 [Pattaya Daily News]; at 2.00 p.m. journalist reported that Pol.Lt.Col. Pheeraphat Sornbootdee (Deputy Superintendent of Nong Prue police station) and Pol.Capt. Ekkanat Sakulphuimul (Deputy Inspector of Nong Prue police station) and Pol.Sen.Sgt.Maj. Chatchai Rakkwamchob (Head of Patroller Sentry Box) of Soi Khao Ta Lo, together had arrested Mr. Sai-a-ong or Ar Hong, aged 31, Burmese nationality, with 50 tubes of heroin.
Pol.Lt.Col. Pheeraphat Sornbootdee revealed that Mr. Sai-a-ong or Ar Hong, who worked in Ko Kae shop had sold heroine to groups of Chinese tour guides. The officers then searched Mr. Sai-a-ong’s and found 50 tubes of heroin.
Upon questioning Mr. Sai-a-ong he confessed to dealing and told police that he got the heroin from a friend named Mr. A-chang who worked at Pattaya Floating Market and resold it to groups of Chinese tour guides for 500 THB after paying 150 THB per tube.
Initially, the police had detained Mr. Sai-a-ong and sent him to the inquiry official of Nong Prue police station in order to be prosecuted further according to the Thai Law.
