Burglars Take Safe From House In Pattaya

Burglars have broken into a house in Pattaya and stole a safe which contain around 200,000 THB in property and cash. A neighbour witnessed the incident but thought they had just moved in.

PATTAYA – September 17, 2014 [Pattaya Daily News]; at 18.00 pm Pol.Lt.Col.Winai Horien-inspector of Nong Prue police station- was notified that there had been a burglary in house in Rattanakorn village. After notification the police rushed to the scene.

 

At the scene the officers found Mr.Aumpai Senasak the 36 year old house owner. Upon inspecting the house the burglars had covered the CCTV with a towel before breaking the glass in the door. The burglars then dragged a 50cm x 50 cm safe outside from the bedroom.

 

Upon questioning Mr.Aumpai he told police that he, his wife and the kids had returned home to find they had been burgled. The safe box contained gold ornaments, 50,000 baht, important documents and some other properties which was all valued around 200,000 baht. The 4 CCTV cameras had been broken by the burglar so the police needed to wait for a technician to inspect them.

Mr.Prayoon Khummoo the 62 year old neighbour revealed that he witnessed the incident and said that 3 men and a woman dragged the safe from inside the house but he thought that they just moved into the house. Later the burglars fled with the safe on a motorbike.

 

The police officers then checked the CCTV of the neighbours house where they that the burglary took place around 13.30 pm and fortunately for the victim CCTV had captured the identities of burglars and the motorbike used in their escape.
