Burglar Steals Buddha Images

A goatee beard burglar has stolen Buddha images from a parsonage in Sattahip. He used a bicycle to flee the scene after committing the crime.

SATTAHIP – July 6,2015 [PattayaDailyNews]; at 9.00 a.m., Pol.Lt. Thanat Sripramarn (Inquiry official of Sattahip police station) was notified that a burglar had stolen property from a parsonage of Khao Ploy Dhamma Retreat, Moo 5 Tambon Sattahip, Amphur Sattahip, Chon Buri province, so he rushed to inspect at scene.

 

At scene the police found the victim who was identified as monk Chaiyadech Sa-neh-ha, aged 59, was waiting for the police. Monk Chaiyadech told the police that he saw the thief who was around 165 cm tall with a goatee beard aged about 50 – 60 years old. He was wearing a black cap and a blue shirt with a camouflage patterned trousers. He had stolen all 15 small Buddha images of Luang Pho Khun of various models and a small medal of King Rama 5 that was in a black briefcase.

 

Pol.Lt. Thanat Sripramarn (Inquiry official of Sattahip police station) said that from questioning the eyewitnesses he perceived that a burglar had ridden his bicycle to Khao Ploy Dhamma then he sat leisurely in order to assess the situation before taking the opportunity to steal the items.
