Mr. Satit, the head of the Centre, earlier attended a video conference with concerned agencies in the 10 flood-ravaged provinces. Each household, which was damaged either by floods or mudslides, for at least one consecutive week would be entitled to receive 5,000 Baht.

The Cabinet has approved to allocate a maximum of 2.9 billion Baht to assist owners of damaged homes, affected by the disaster that began on March 23, Mr. Satit said.

In regards to the delayed government payments for floods and mudslides victims in November last year, Mr. Satit said the disbursements are expected to be completed Sunday.
