Pattatay 21st February 2010 [Pattaya Daily News] The Sawang Boriboon Rescue team along with the Bangkok Pattaya ambulance service rushed to a hotel in Soi 13/2, Pattaya Beach Road, Nongprue at 4.00 pm on the 20th February, after reports that a foreign man had tried to kill himself.

On the third floor of the hotel (name with held) room no. 309, the officials found British citizen Mr. William [41] lying on the floor, his body and surrounding area covered in blood.  He had suffered a serious injury with deep cuts to both wrists and his neck. A knife was found on the bed with a towel hanging from the ceiling where it had been tied and a substantial amount of blood was found in the bathroom.  Mr. William was immediately rushed to the hospital.

Apparently Mr. William had checked into the hotel for two weeks and hotel staff stated that they had no idea why he had attempted to take his own life. There was however a letter he had left with the hotel Manager for his brother in England to be contacted. The hotel management refused to divulge any information to the Media only stating that Mr. Williams must have had a serious problem.
