British Man Slips and Falls Under Moving Train Killing Him Instantly

A young British male who was travelling by train went out between two carriages to get some fresh air but accidentally slipped and went under the moving train killing him instantly.

PRACHUAP KHIRI KHAN-May 8, 2104 [Pattaya Daily News];- at 09.00 am. Pol.Maj.Yoswaris Thongsongsom-investigation inspector of Prachuap Khiri Khan police station- was notified from a Mr Samruay Taiwan- Bor-nok a railway station officer- that a body was found on the railway track in Bor-nok, Prachuap Khiri Khan. After notification they were accompanied with Sawangpracuabthammasatharn rescue team and rushed to the scene.

At the scene about 2 km from the station they found a body of a male that had been severely damaged along 100 meters of the railway. He was wearing a red-grey shirt, red long pants. The officers didn’t find formal identification on the body but later at 00.45 am someone notified the police that Mr Matthew Lawlow a 20 year old Briton who was on the train had gone missing. He was on board the train with his friends from Bangkok heading to Phangan island, Surat thani.

Upon questioning his friends they told police that Mr Matthew went outside to get some fresh air between the two cars and wasn’t seen again as he accidentally fell down between them . The officers had notified his family about the death.
