British Man Leaves Wallet In Grocery Store

A British man who left his wallet in a Pattaya grocery store was lucky to get it back after the owner handed it in to the police.

PATTAYA -March 3,2015 [Pattaya Daily News]; AT 15.00 PM Mrs.Petchnoi Moots aged 47 who was a grocery shop owner in Soi Photisarn road went to meet Pol.Col.Chanapat Nawaluk-superintendent of Bang Lamung police station- because she had a wallet that belonged to a foreigner who had left it in her store.

 

Mrs.Petchnoi said that the foreign man previously bought some beer in her store and sat outside drinking it before he left. Later she went to clear up the empty bottles and found a wallet which contained 55,000 baht and 4,950 Rupees. The wallet had some documents that had the identity of a Mr.Adam Morris aged 39 from England, so she decided to take it to the police.

 

Later Mr.Adam went to Bang lamung police station to collect his wallet and gave the woman a reward for handing it in.
