British Man Leaves Bag In Pattaya Taxi

A foreigner who took a taxi from the airport in Bangkok to Pattaya got out and left his bag behind which all his money and personal documents. Luckily the taxi driver took it to the police station where it was collected by the relieved owner.

PATTAYA – November 25,2014 [Pattaya Daily News] at 14.00 pm Pol.Lt.Col.Songkram Puneium-inspector of Pattaya police station- was notified by MR.Wichai Thaweegun a 53 year old taxi driver that he found a bag in his taxi which had been left by a foreigner.

 

Later Mr.James Richardson a 51 year old from England went to police station to collect his bag. He inspected the bag which contained about 100,000 baht, an I pad mini, mobile phone and documents. He really appreciated that the taxi driver had handed it in so he gave him some money as gift for his kindness.

 

MR.Wichai said that he picked up the foreigner from Suvannabhumi airport and bought him to Pattaya. Later the foreign man got out of the taxi in Soi Buakaw. After he dropped him off the taxi driver noticed that he had left his bag behind so he decided to take it to police in order to find the man.
