Prajuabkhirikhan, February 28, 2014 [Pattaya Daily News]: Pol.Lt.Col.Chaiwat Suebyew, detective officer of Huahin police station was notified that there was a dead man in the room number 12/225, Hua Hin road, Huaymonkol 11 (Prachasamukkee) Hua Hin municipality, so he reported to the commander and went to the crime scene with Pol.Col.Waranya Kuldilok, director of Hua Hin detectives police officers, medical team from Hua Hin hospital, and Sawang Hua Hin Thammasatan foundation.

At the scene was a one storey building of rental rooms. The police went in the room and found Mr.William John Roykorp 54 years old British man lying his back in pool of blood. From examining him they found a big long wound on his head and they expected that he had been dead for 6 hours. Near him they found the a broken chair and there were no signs of robbery or fighting. The police sent his body to the forensic medical team at the Royal Thai Police to perform an autopsy.

From asking Mrs.Kanya Nocke, 50 year old who is his neighbour, she told police that they had known each other for long time and he lived alone. He was suffering from hepatitis so he couldn’t walk very well. She also told police that she had not seen him come out to eat, so she knocked the door but no one answered so she opened the door and found him dead on the floor.

The police perceived that he was sitting in the chair, but the chair was too fragile for his weight causing it to break under him resulting in him banging his head on the floor killing him. The police also said that they will wait for the autopsy report for the real cause of death.
