Brakes Fail

An ice truck lost control and crashed into a shop after its brakes failed. Luckily nobody was killed but the shop owner was injured.

SATTAHIP – June 5,2015 [PattayaDailyNews]; at 14.00 pm Pol.Capt.Kanchanapat Pattaweesutha-female inspector of Sattahip police station- was notified that an ice truck had lost control and crashed into a shop. After notification the police officers rushed to inspect the scene.

 

At the scene the officers found the truck which had crashed into the shop. Also Mr.somtob Jantakham-the shop owner had been injured but had been taken to hospital by his relatives. It’s expected that the total damage cost is about 100,000 baht. Upon questioning Mr.Somnuk Kaewkanchana the truck driver he revealed that he was on the way to deliver some ice when the brakes failed causing him to lose control before crashing into the shop.

Pol.Capt.Kanchanapat said that she told the victim to notify the police and the driver said he will pay for the damage to his shop and the insurance company will take care of the accident.
