Boy Found Unconscious With Rope Around His Neck In Pattaya

A 4 year old boy from a nursery at a temple in Pattaya was found unconscious with a rope around his neck. The teachers were told by a girl who attends the nursery that he was sleeping so they rushed to the scene.

PATTAYA – August 22, 2014 [Pattaya Daily News]; at 17.00 pm Pol.Col.Suppatee Boonkrong-acting superintendent of Pattaya police station- was notified by the Pattaya Memorial hospital that a boy had tied a picnic mat rope around his neck. The accident happened at the nursery in Wat Chaimongkol temple. After notification the police officers rushed to inspect.


At the hospital the doctors were assisting Mr.Rapeepat (Model) Maikrobklang aged 4 who was unconscious and his mom and teachers were monitoring him. Upon questioning the teacher she revealed that there are about 100 children in nursery and the parents always picked up their kids on Friday but before the incident Mr.Model and his friend were waiting their parents in the canteen with Mrs Sirisri Sridang aged 61 a housemaid and 4 other housemaids who were looking after them. Later Ms.Pakgard (kid) told a teacher that Mr Model was sleeping therefore the teachers rushed to the scene and found him unconscious on the ground with a picnic mat rope around his neck so they rushed him to the hospital.

Mr.Surat Mekawarakul-director of the nursery- revealed that it was an unexpected accident and he was extremely saddened about the incident and he also said that the nursery cover all the medical expenses.


However the police officers had questioned the witnesses and recorded the incident. Also the officers would like to warn the parents to take more care of their children in the future.
