BKK “Modelling Agent” Rapes Tapes & Blackmails Wannabees

A 29-years-old Bangkok man was arrested charged with rape and duping freelance models aka "pretties" to cast for him wherby he raped, taped and then blackmailed the young women. Mr. Samrit the accused will only give his testimony only in court.

BANGKOK – May 9, 2012 [Pattaya Daily News]; The Crime Suppression Division of Thai Royal Police,(CSD) Pol.Col.Prasopchoke Prommul, Pol.Col.Athip Tannil and Pol.Lt.Col.Runglert Kantachanal said that they arrested Mr.Samrit Thongseekaeo 29-years-old man, address # 807/91, Soi Soonbangterng, Bangkapi charged with rape, deception and threat.

The police arrested Mr. Samrit and found: a lap top, a hard disk and a video camera in his room number # 507, Wongcharern Mansion, Soi Ladprao 130, Klongchan, Bangkapi district.

There are reports that a number of freelance exhibition models or “pretties” were raped by Mr. Samrit who said he was a modeling agent from Penthouse magazine in Singapore.

He told them they would arrange a screen test and he would contact other modeling networks and also post it on his Facebook.

He managed to convince the “pretties” and added that the contract included working as a wine promotion model in Singapore. One year contract. On monthly basis: 20,000 THB per day.

He also said that if they accepted to do this work they had to participate in 3 erotic films per year, they would be paid 400,000 THB.

The models, “pretties” believed him and they made a deal. Mr. Samrit invited them to drink alcohol. Later he started the casting. Tested the video cameras and called them in one by one to the room to have a screen test with him. Then he raped them. Everything was recorded.

Later Mr. Samrit used the recordings to blackmail his victims otherwise he would broadcast the videos on the internet.

After that the victims went together to the police station and reported the case.

Upon questioning the suspect said that he would not give his testimony. He would only give it at the criminal court.

The police has called for cooperation from all the victims to help the investigation team.
