PATTAYA – March 17,2015 [Pattaya Daily News]; Mr.Anupong Buddanawarat-head of the NCPO of Pattaya city- and committees had inspected Walking Street South Pattaya in order to inspect the billboards of the each venue after they had received complaints that they were messy and illegal.

Upon inspecting the billboards that had been installed over the road some were very low which might prevent emergency services accessing the street. Also a lot of them were a fire risk, so they took photos and video for evidence.

Mr.Anupong said that there were a lot of venues in Walking Street and there were many billboards advertising each venue. However, some operators hadn’t obeyed the rules which stated that they must be installed 5 meters above the ground so that vehicles can easily access the street.

The officers told the operators who had broken the rule to rectify it within 7 days when they will be back to inspect them again.
