Bike for DadThere were 880 cyclists at Amphur Sattahip, Chon Buri province who rode their bikes to celebrate the kings 88th Birthday.
SATTAHIP – December 5th , 2015 [Pattaya Daily News]; at 8.39 a.m., in front of Phlu Ta Luang Subdistrict Administrative Organization, Amphur Sattahip, Chon Buri province, Dr. Sathira Phueakpraphan chaired the opening of the “Bike for Dad” activity to honour King Bhumibol Adulyadej on his 88th Birthday on the 5th December 2015. There were Mr. Somboon La-lard (Deputy Mayor of Phlu Ta Luang Subdistrict Administrative Organization), Mr. Phonthakorn Chuea-ngern (Deputy Mayor of Mueang Sattahip), Gp.Capt. Wiroj Wangkaewhiran (Former Advisor of Secretariat of the Prime Minister) and 880 cyclists aged between 7-77 years old who rode their bikes 15km for the king on his birthday.
Dr. Sathira Phueakpraphan said that the activity is to express our loyalty to King Bhumibol Adulyadej and also to strengthen people’s health by exercising together. This activity was also to motivate people to exercise. Moreover, this activity was also to promote tourism in Amphur Sattahip, Chon Buri province, due to the scenery with forests, mountainous landscapes and beautiful beaches.
