Beer Chang Helps Thai Royal Navy Skydivers With 800,000 THB

Thai Beverage " Beer Chang" PCL donated 800,000 THB to support the skydiving activities of the Royal Thai Navy and to increase the proficiency and the skills of the soldiers. And also to take Thai skydiving to the next level here in Asia.

Pattaya, August 22, 2011 [Pattaya Daily News] ; Lieutenant Junior Grade Pongsak Puriroj , the director of “leatherneck s” of Thai Navy, together with high ranking officers welcomed Ms Chalot Tonawanick, Director of Thai Beverage Public Company Limited thanking her for supporting the skydiving activities of the Royal Thai Navy at the reception hall, Thai Navy, Sattahip, Chonburi province.

Ms Chalot Tonawanick, Director of Thai Beverage Public Company Limited said that Thai Beverage PLC has supported many sports activies, in order to promote and develop the health of Thai people. Each year, Thai Bev have supported directly and an indirectly many sport associations in the Kingdom; including the Thai favorite sports such as volleyball, golf, snooker, tennis, football and skydiving.

“The aim is to develop skydiving as a popular sport. By supporting purchase of sports equipment for training and participation in competitions”. said Lieutenant Junior Grade Pongsak Puriroj, the director of “the leathernecks” of Thai Navy. And he regarding the skydiving activity, “the navy soldiers must be healthy and brave to promote skydiving and make skydiving accepted nationwide. But also to enhance the relationship among every unit in the navy group and to be the pride of the Royal Thai Navy”.

For those who are experts in skydiving can become a representatives of Royal Thai Navy to compete in skydiving which is now set as a sports activity between the armed forces. Since year 2515 ( 1972) the Royal Thai Army is has hosted several contests every year. The other armed forces are also committed: the Royal Thai Army, the e Royal Thai Air Force and the Police Operations Center will rotate to host of the contest.
