The suspects claimed that the reason why they had stolen the money from the bank was that Mr. Suppachet owed over 8 Million THB to an online casino. The casino came to Mr. Suppachet’s house daily to demand the money he owed to the online casino. Which made him extremely stressed, but when he learned that his girlfriend, Ms. Jutamat had access keys to various ATM’s. They soon made a plan to heist money from the three ATM’s that had money filled with over 10 Million THB. It was reported that Ms. Jutamat came from a wealthy family and that she never had any debt or financial problems. But her boyfriend Mr. Suppachet had financial problems all his life, mainly coming from owing money to casinos.
