Banglamung Police Arrest Construction Worker

Banglamung police took an arrest warrant to Loei province to arrest a male construction worker who had murdered a fellow worker with his younger brother.

PATTAYA – October 4, 2014 [Pattaya Daily News]; at 8.00 p.m., Pol.Col. Tharmmanoon Mankhong (Superintendent of Banglamung police station) revealed that a detective police team had taken an arrest warrant from Pattaya Provincial Court, No. Jor.795/2556 dated December 24, 2013, and coordinated with the police of Chiang Klom police station, Loei province and Ranger Forces Company (RNGRCO) No. 2106 to arrest Mr. Khamnuan Rattanaprathoom, aged 43, at house no. 189, Moo 6 Huay Bor Suen, Pak Chom, Loei province, with the allegation of murder.

 

On December 22, 2013, at approximately 7.00 p.m., the defendant and his younger brother had assaulted and killed a victim at a construction site in Suksiri village, Moo 2 Ta Khian Tia, Banglamung, Chonburi province, then fled the area. Therefore, the police gathered all evidence to ask for an arrest warrant from the Pattaya Provincial Court.

 

Mr. Khamnuan (the defendant) confessed that he and his younger brother had killed his co-worker due to an argument on a construction site. After the murder Mr. Khamnuan went back to his hometown to work until he was finally arrested. As for the whereabouts of his younger brother the police are still hunting for him.

 

The police have sent Mr. Khamnuan to the inquiry official to be prosecuted further according to the Thai law.
