Bang Lamung Sheriff Examines illegal build on Hotel

Bang lamung sheriff was accompanied with officers to examine the progress of the demolition of 7 illegally built floors at the Boutique Paradise Hotel after the 180 day notice had expired.

PATTAYA-May 15, 2014 [Pattaya Daily News];- As Pattaya court had ordered the Boutique Paradise Hotel to demolish the extension of 7 floors on the hotel after it was constructed illegally, they had also stopped any construction and ordered the lawyer from Pattaya to prosecute them.

The hotel had already been given a 180 notice to demolish the 7 floors which had now passed. P.B.T.A. (Pattaya Business and Tourism Association) went to meet Bang Lamung’s sheriff and Pattaya’s mayor in order to track the progress after they were informed that the hotel had slowly started to demolish the 7 illegal built floors. They are afraid that the extension is very dangerous to customers and it will destroy the good image of Pattaya.

Latest Mr.Sakchai Tang-Ho- sheriff of Bang Lamung- was accompanied with Mr.Ronnakit Ae-kasingha- Deputy mayor of Pattaya-, Mr.Sinchai Wattanasartsathorn- chief of P.B.T.A., administrative officers and a Pattaya technician team to examine the progress of demolishing of the 7 illegal floors.

Initially the hotel was still operating even though they were demolishing the illegal extension. As a result of wrongdoing they had ordered Mr Prapan Patumchompoo- mayor of Bang Lamung- to prosecute those involved.

After that they went to examine the progress and they found that the workers had started to demolish the illegal floors but work had stopped and there had been no more progress. Therefore they had ordered to close the hotel until the work had been finished.

In addition they had already been ordered to close but were operating as normal. Plus the official agents had ordered the water and electricity to be cut off which would force the hotel to close but on the inspection day they found that the water and electric was still on.However the hotel owner had been caught and prosecuted and the building has been closed until all work has been completed.
