Avid Gamer Steals 3 Computers From His Old Sattahip School To Start Gaming Business

A wily, enterprising young man keen to start his own Internet gaming business decided the most effective way to acquire the necessary computers was to rip them off from his old school on June 10, 2008. Police, having contrary opinions, put paid to his little enterprise, on 19th June, by arresting him with the damning evidence under his bed.

Mr. Triempol Kodkam (42) head teacher of the Computer Centre, Singsamut Chool, Sattahip, finally learnt the identity of the thief who had originally stolen 3 computers from his school 9 days previously and informed Police Colonel Suppapee boonkrong, accordingly. In the early hours of June 19, the police team, armed with a search warrant, then descended upon the blissfully sleeping thief, Thikumporn Sornsa-ngah (19), ex-student of the school, with the evidence under his bed.

Questioning the young suspect at the police station, police learnt that young Thikumporn, with his two accomplices, Messrs. Ped (18) and Pungpond(25), had broken in through the back of the school, then stolen keys to the computer room from where they stole three Prowell E. 2160 computers, worth Bt60,000, secreted them in a rubbish carrier that they’d brought along for their mission and made off.

Young Thikumporn further confessed he’d wanted to open his own gaming shop because he loved playing Internet games and had sufficient potential customers of his own ilk. When his ex-head computer teacher, Mr. Triempol Kodkam, who was also present, asked him why he hadn’t also stolen the brand new computer that was also in the computer room, the young thief replied that he knew it belonged to Mrs. Doungdean Thongumpa, the teacher of religion and ethics, and he was afraid of karmic retribution.

Thikumporn and his two accomplices will be held in custody prior to prosecution.
