ATTA & THA open up a Grand Service Course under the Thailand Grand

Tourism Authority of Thailand (TTT) together with ATTA & THA held a course on Grand Service under the Thailand Grand Invitation Campaign in 20 provinces in all regions.

The course was launched in Bangkok starting 22 August – 28 September 2006 and will continue to each of the main tourist provinces such as Hua Hin, Nakornayoke, Saraburi, Chiang Rai, Mae Hong Son, Chiang Mai, Kanchanaburi, Pattaya, Rayong, Koh Chang, Nakonratchasima, Kon Kaen, Ubolrachatani, Nakornpranom, Trang, Hadyai, Phuket and Samui. For Cholburi province the course was held on 7th September 2006, at Dusit Resort Hotel from 8.00-15.00 hrs. with Deputy Mayor, Mr. Verawat Khakay conducted the opening ceremony.

The objective of the course is to develop consciousness and discipline for the service personnel’s in all parts of the region coming from the Tourism Industry. Enhance their skills and experience to be prepared in providing a quality service and optimum work efficiency.

Grand Service Course was set up, intended for 3 group of industries, such as Hotel, Resort and Travel Offices who are member and non member of ATTA, who provide accommodation services for tourists and local as well.

The training completed for one day and a half. Lectures were made by the expertise from various fields, to mention; Mr. Apichat Damdee spoke on the topic of “Best Services and Morality in Duty”. Mrs. Gitsawan Siriapiban gave a talk on how to develop one personality to fit with the service work. Mrs. Rabieb Boonganchaing on “Hotel Servicing” and Mr. Muslin Sukapattanaragul talk about service for “Tourism and Guide”.

The attendees were given an engraved logo of Thailand Grand in pin in recognition that they have passed the course.
