(Woman) Kritsana Wisapa (Inquiry official of Lumpini police station) was notified that a foreign man had fallen to his death from a building. The incident occurred at the splashboard behind Na Na Hotel, Sukhumvit Soi 4, Khlong Toei Sub-district, Khlong Toei District, Bangkok, so she rushed to inspect the scene together with a police team from Lumpini police station, forensic doctor of General Police Hospital, officers of Scientific Crime Detection Division and rescuers of Ruam Katanyu Foundation.

At the incident the officers found a corpse of Mr. Kevin Curley, American nationality, aged 51. The officers then went up to the 4th floor to investigate his room. Initially, the officers assumed that the deceased had accidentally fallen from the 5th floor therefore the officers gathered all the details and evidence that were found at the scene to inspect further.

Upon investigating the hotel clerk he told the police that before the incident occurred he saw Mr. Kevin (the deceased) who was bleeding running through the lobby and looked like he had been assaulted. He then ran to the back door of the hotel and hid beside a steel sadder (fire escape) so the hotel clerk ran to ask Mr. Kevin what was wrong but he was frightened and ran away to the 5th floor throwing the iron bar which he was carrying at the hotel clerk. He then quickly informed the hotel manager when suddenly he heard a loud noise as if something big had hit the floor so he went to investigate and found Mr. Kevin dead on the floor.

Initially, the officers will inspect the CCTVs in the area of the incident to see if the deceased had been assaulted by anyone.
