Arabian Thief Drugs Hotel Officer

An Arabian thief drugged a hotel owner before stealing the safe which contained guest’s valuables totalling more than 1 million THB. He also stole the CCTV before fleeing the scene.

PATTAYA – December 10, 2013 [Pattaya Daily News]; at 7.30 a.m. Pol. Lt. Wattana Pradit (Investigation police on duty at Pattaya city police station) and the detective police team together inspected Jas haur hotel, Pattaya, that is located in Soi Buakhao, Moo 9 Tambon Nong Prue, Amphur Banglamung, Chonburi province. The officers were notified that there was a foreign man who had drugged the hotel owner and clerk before prying open the safety deposit boxes and stealing all property inside together with the CCTV.

At the incident the police found Mrs. Wilailak Suwanhitathorn who is the hotel owner, aged 51 and Mr. Ath Yossanan, aged 35 who is the hotel clerk, both of them were drugged and gibbered but the police understood that at 4.00 a.m. there was a foreign man who looked Arabian that bought alcohol to drink with them. They shared the drink.l Mrs. Wilailak (the hotel owner) then woke realising that both of them had been drugged.

Mrs. Wilailak said that all 28 safety boxes that contained the valuable property of her hotel guests were pried open totalling more than 1 million THB and the CCTV of the hotel was also missing. The police collected fingerprints of the thief and all the evidence of the thief in order to arrest the thief and prosecute him further according to Thai law.
