On 13 November 2007, at 03.00AM, Pol.Lt.Col. Sawai Ong-art, Pattaya investigator, was informed that there was a theft at “Partnership Law Office”, located at 3/227, Soi Chalerm prakiat 4, Pattaya 3rd road, Naklua, Banglamung, Chonburi. Police rushed to investigate after notification.
Arriving at the incident, Miss Nathaporn Donsuea, (28), from Angthong province, an accountant, was frightened, waiting for the officials. She told police that she was sleeping alone in the room, on the second floor of the office. A thief climbed in, through the third floor window and went into an office of Lawyer Prawit Samrarnwanich, on the second floor, opposites her room. He stole two Acer notebook computers, worth about 60,000 baht and also tried to use the screwdriver to force opening her room without knowing that she was sleeping in the room.

Miss Nathaporn said that she was aware and frightened, but attempted to shout out in order to scare away the thief. The thief bawled back that he would shoot her to death, and threatened her to open her bedroom door. She did not dare to open then started screaming out for help. The thief ran down to the ground floor and opened the office from the inside to escape with two notebook computers. Miss Nathaporn notified to the police and informed Lawyer Prawit after that.

The officials immediately coordinated with police team to search for the thief. Presumably, he did not have a transportation to use for escaping, but there was no luck. Officials had collected fingerprints around the area for evidence. However, Miss Nathaporn presumed that the thief could be one of the construction workers in the Soi, near the office. Police will carry on to search for the suspect as soon as possible.
