Pattaya, October 29,2010, [Pattaya Daily News]: glamour-queen Neetu Chandra – ‘Angel’ to locals – is currently in Pattaya, shooting Ameer’s Aadhi Bhagavan with Jayam Ravi. It didn’t take a dedicated team of soap advocates to agitate the locals, they were sufficiently bowled over by her graceful Indian presence and the style of her attire.

“I used to step out of my hotel room, dressed in salwar kameez’ Indian traditional costume,” she told Pattaya Daily news. “But, the Pattaya women came out in bikinis and other skimpy outfits to soak in the beaches. Apparently, there are many call girls and masseuse out there and people were surprised to see a fully-clothed Indian girl.”

The locals apparently really got off on her wardrobe and ever alert for possible new superstars to worship, the talent scouts have overwhelmingly goneoverboard for Neetu , or Legan – ‘Angel’ –  as Pattaya folk have dubbed  her. “The women touched and felt my fabric and wanted to know everything about the fabrics we use in India to stitch rich-looking chudidhars,” Angel  said.

“Legan, in the local Pattayan language, means angel. And I was flattered when they called me that,” Angel  told PDN.

Angel has already fascinated and wooed away fans of the Thai Superstars. No doubt when her latest movie, ‘Aadhi Bhagavan’ hits the silver screens, her popularity will soar – on her wings!
