Air Asia U-Tapao to Launch Flights to China

Pattaya city officials have discussed with the related sectors about launching two new services between U-tapao Pattaya and two destinations in China.

PATTAYA – September 4,2015 [Pattaya Daily News]; Mr. Sutham Phetket (Deputy District Chief of Pattaya City, Chon Buri province) Chaired a meeting about a plan to open a new chartered Thai Air Asia flight service between U-tapao airport and China. Also in attendance was Mr. Rattanachai Sutthidechanai (President of Tourism Committee and City Cultural Council), representatives from Thai Air Asia, the Tourism Authority of Thailand and tour operators.


This meeting was to discuss the plan which is to be launched at the end of September. Thai Air Asia has planned to open two new flight services between U-Tapao Pattaya airport to Nanning and Nanchang in China that will start on 25th September 2015.

Miss Witchuree Kantapeng (Director of Thai Air Asia Ground Operation) said that Thai Air Asia will open a new non-stop flight service to the 2 cities in China. The flights will be on promotion starting at 990 THB per person on 2 airbuses 4320 aircraft and there will be 4 flights per week.


“In the past Thai Air Asia had launched a service from U-tapao airport – Kuala Lumper which had been a great success and in the future Thai Air Asia plans to launch more services to Singapore and Macao. For the domestic service Thai Air Asia plans to launch a new service to Udon Thani, too.” said Miss Witchuree.
