Act. Sub .Lt. Hits Drunken Old Man With Shovel Handle

A Mr Somporn Nabamrung who is an Acting. Sub. Lt hit an old man several times with a shovel injuring him severely. He told police that the old man came into his house and started insulting him which caused an argument so he hit him with the shovel.

SATTAHIP – March 7,2014 [Pattaya Daily News]; the incident occurred at 0:10 am, Pol.Lt.Capt.Nares Boontee, detective officer of the shift was informed about the incident where a man had been hit on the head, seriously injuring him in front of a rental room in soi Sattahip, Sukhumwit 29, moo 3, Sattahip, Sattahip, Chonburi, so he went with the rescuers of Sawangrojjana Thammasathan foundation Sattahip, to the crime scene.

On the road the officers found a Mr.Shumpol Joysiri, 60 years old, who was drunk sitting in a pool of blood. He had a large wound to his head which still had blood pouring out so rescuers gave him first aid before sending him to Queen Sirikit hospital. Upon checking the crime scene they found a blood trail and also found a blood stained shovel on the floor, so the police kept it as evidence. and the man who did it was Act.Sub.Lt. Somporn Nabamrung, 37 years old, after he did it the locals caught him in time.

Upon questioning the attacker he said that he was sitting in front of his room, suddenly , Mr.Shumporn, the victim, came in drunk looked down on him started insulting him. They then started arguing which ended up with Mr Somporn Nabamrung who is an Acting. Sub. Lt. hitting the old man several times with a shovel.
