AC Technician Accidentally Shot With Shotgun

An AC (Air Conditioner) technician was accidentally shot with a shotgun. His friend claimed that he handed it to him to put it away when it accidentally went off.

PATTAYA – October 13, 2014 [Pattaya Daily News]; at 3.30 a.m., Pol.Col. Tharmmanoon Munkhong (Superintendent of Banglamung police station, Chonburi province) was notified from Banglamung hospital that there was 1 severely injured victim who had been shot andhad been sent for treatment at the hospital. The Incident occurred in Maneerat village in front of house no. 15/35 Moo 3 Soi 38 Ta Khian Tia, Tambon Ta Khian Tia, Amphur Banglamung, Chonburi province, so he rushed to inspect the scene together with forces of the detective police team.

 

At the hospital the officers found the injured victim identified as Mr. Rewat Singjuang, aged 43, who was an AC technician, he had been shot once with a shotgun beneath his right breast and was severely injured.

 

Later the police team went to inspect the scene which was a 1-storied-townhouse that belonged to the victim where the officers found a green Mitsubishi Strada pick-up truck of the victims, license no. Phor Khor 1919 Nakhon Ratchasima, was parked in front of such house. The officers also found a blood stain on the driver’s seat and 1 cartridge size no. 12 on the floor which was kept for evidence.

 

Pol.Col. Tharmmanoon revealed that before incident occurred the injured victim together with Miss Juthathip Phongphan, aged 26, who is his girlfriend, and Mr. Phakin On-la-ong, aged 33, who was a victim’s friend,were all drinking at a karaoke shop, in area of Amphur Na Wang, and after they got the victim drove his pick-up truck to take Miss Juthathip and Mr. Phakin back home.

 

When arrived at an incident house the victim had handed Mr. Phakin his shot gun to put it away when it accidental went off hitting Mr. Rewat causing him to be severely injured.

 

However, the police had detained a victim’s girlfriend and his friend to be investigated in more detail when they sober up and also to check their hands for gunshot residue. Initially, the police assumed that while the injured victim was handing the shotgun to his friend it accidentally went off causing one of them to become injured.
