A Savage Brother Kills His Deaf Elder Brother With Samurai Sword

A younger brother who was angry that his deft elder brother who always told him by using sign language that he worked incompletely hacked him to death with a samurai sword.

CHONBURI – February 12, 2014 [Pattaya Daily News]; at 12.30 a.m. Pol. Lt. Col. SomkidHeang-sa-thien (Investigation officer of Nong Prue police station, Amphur Banglamung, Chonburi province) was notified that there was a Thai man who had been killed in Green Park village, Soi Sith Yodthong boxing camp, Moo 1 Tambon Nong Prue, Amphur Banglamung, Chonburi province, so he rushed to inspect the scene together with Pol. Col. Sutthisak Wanthee (Superintendent of Nong Prue police station) and the rescuers of Sawang Boriboon Tharmma Satharn foundation, Pattaya city.

At the scene the officers found the corpse of a man in a pool of blood in front of the construction worker camp in the village. The dead victim had 2 severe wounds of being hacked by a sharp weapon to his throat and his left arm. The corpse was identified as Mr. Aphichai Simmarong, aged 25, residing at house no. 47 Moo 12 Tambon Muang Sai, Amphur Pho Sai, Ubon Ratchathani province, who was a bricklayer. After inspecting the scene the officers found 1 katana with blood stains on it hidden beneath the mattress in the worker room so the police kept it for evidence.

The police arrested the murderer after he tried to escape. He was identified as Mr. Aphidech Simmarong, aged 22, who is the younger brother of the deceased.

Upon investigating Mr. Aphidech, he confessed that before incident occurred he was sitting drinking rice whisky with his deaf brother in their room and they quarreled about their work and the deaf elder brother always used his sign language to tell his brother that he worked slovenly (incompetently) which caused Mr. Aphidech to become angry and ended up scuffling and Mr. Aphichai (his elder brother) grabbed a katana to hack at Mr. Aphidech’s head killing him instantly.

After inspecting and investigating the incident in detail the police made a record of evidence and detained Mr. Aphidech Simmarong to prosecute him further according to Thai law.
