A PROPERTY COMPANY IN PATTAYA WAS BURGLED TWICE IN TWO MONTHS

Burglars robbed a property company in Pattaya for the second time in two months. They stole many various items, worth more than three hundred thousand baht.

On 6 November 2007, at 10.30 AM, Pol.Lt.Col. Sumet Harnwisai, Pattaya investigator, was notified that there was a burglary at Pattaya Paradise City Property Co.Ltd, located at 116/27, Central Pattaya Road, opposite Carrefour store. Police and examination officers rushed to investigate.
Arriving at the property company office, police met Mr. Gavin Perfect (31), the owner of the company and other Thai staffs were nervously waiting for police officers. On the ground floor, police found the office desks were searched and many things were scattered around the room. In Mr. Perfect’s office, on the second floor, found a safe, with the contents of US dollar and Thai baht, altogether 225,400 baht, was stolen. Besides, 7 electric cookers, 2 notebook computers and a digital camera were also missing. The total lost of the properties were more than 300,000 baht. There was a trace of breaking in at the sliding window, next to the company sign, on the third floor.

Mr. Gavin Perfect told police that he has been renting the building for a long time. He is using the building as the company office to run a property business for land and house, but he has never had anybody to live. He was shocked to see his office was ransacked and the safe with other properties were stolen. He also told police that his office was robbed once in the past two months. In the last time, the thieves forced opening the back door to come in. This time they even robbed more than the last time.

Police officers had taken fingerprints all around the area for evidence and will carry out the investigation to arrest the thieves as soon as possible.
