A New World Of Pleasure “The Wildlife Kingdom”

Sriracha Tiger Zoo is opened for tourists on April 23, 1997. It is situated at no. 341 Moo 3, Nongkham Sub-district, Sriracha District, Chonburi Province, with the area of more than 100 acres.

The zoo consists of more than 200 Bengal tigers and 100,000 crocodiles. In addition to various kinds of animals, it also provides many activities for tourists to enjoy. Visitors can experience natural touch and enjoy the company of tamed animals closely.

Objective
1.To conserve wildlife species that are closed to extinction for future generation, such as tiger and some wildlife species.

2.To build consciousness for the society to reserve nature and environment, especially among the youth to care and concern for wildlife animals and take part in preserving activities.

3.To breed wild animals which are specified by Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora ( CITES ) that they can be exported.

4.To response to the 8th national economy development plan and social by developing quality of life and educating the society on wildlife knowledge

Taking memorable photos with the tiger cub, baby crocodile, and various other kinds of animal Observe the tigers and crocodiles‘ behaviours Getting close to feed camels,deer, wallabies, ostriches, etc. Witness the kind-hearted pig feeding the tiger cubs with her own milk along with the piglets Experience the “Crocodile Hatching Festival”, the unique event held every day from May to August. First in Thailand! “Piggy”, the genius pig that can calculate in 5 languages “Scorpion Queen”, the girl with over 100 scorpions on her body

Caspain tiger Used to be found in North African, North Iran, East Mongolia, East Turkey and Central Russia. Indo-chinese tiger Has lesser pattern than Sumatran tiger with medium color tone, can be found in Myanmar, South China (Cambodia, Laos, Malay Peninsular and Thailand.) Javan tiger und in Java, Indonesia before its extinction. Bengal tigerThe most common species, found in Bangladesh, Bhutan, Northwest Myanmar, India, Nepal and Thailand.

Siberian tigerHas the largest size, with thick hair and lighter color.
South china tigerHas the least pattern and found in Central and East China.
Sumatran tigerHas the darkest color and smallest size, it can be found in Sumatra, Indonesia.

S&R Restaurant
S&R Restaurant serves Thai, Chinese and Western cuisine for tourists. Visitors can try our exotic dishes of crocodile meat that are specially prepared as well as fresh seafood. The restaurant is open daily from 10.00-20.00 hours.On Saturdays, Sundays and official holidays, you can enjoy a special feature of our “all-you-can-eat” buffet which comprises up to ten dishes by paying only 79 baht per person.
