A New ERA In Pattaya Real Estate

Well, we probably thought that we had seen it all in real estate marketing, but the world-wide ERA marketing group wants to open a Pattaya branch. Their concept is to thoroughly train sales people first, so that their property brokerage franchises are successful.

Pattaya, the 18th of January 2010 [Pattaya Daily News]: Mr. Paul Sivatachanon is the founder & CEO ERA Franchise (Thailand) Co Ltd, and after being educated and working in America, he returned to Thailand where he worked for many years as a marketing Manager in Bangkok on large residential projects. However with his vast experience in real estate marketing, he decided to start Thailand’s first ever real estate marketing network. This was a very difficult job, because Thailand is much different to the USA, and even today the multiple listing of properties is not common.


In 1993 ERA started their “Exclusive Listing Marketing” concept and at the same time launched a “Real Estate Marketing Training Course.” In 1994 they started to computerize their “Home Selling Network” and in conjunction with the new computer age they launched their www.erathai.com website in 1996. The “ERA Housing Index” was developed in 1997 and by 1998 they were ready to launch their first “Thailand Property Road Show” into the USA. Running to a carefully laid out plan, they developed a new training program called “Selling Skills Workshop” in 1999, then in 2000 they introduced a new “Lucky Draw Program and also a new “Management Training Program.”

The new “ERA 1755 Call Centre” was introduced in 2001, plus an “ERA Expo” was staged at the NCO, then the “back room boys” must have been suffering from considerable “brain drain,” so in 2002 ERA celebrated “10-Years Of Commitment” to their clients. This marked their passage through the usual business development and rapid growth stages, then things moved along steadily until 2005 when they started the ERA “Home In The City” campaign. This was followed in 2006 by the successful launching of “My Home By ERA” and how time had moved along, because 2007 saw them celebrating “Fifteen Years Of Service.”


Today ERA has developed even more innovative marketing concepts, using mobile phones, internet and website facilities, via a world-wide network of 46-companies encompassing well over 1,000 agencies. So, what are they planning to do in Pattaya? – From the ERA office on Sukhumvit, ERA are offering “ERA Franchise” opportunities, and also commencing their own “ERA Training Courses.” These will most likely start with a 2-day course at the “Ibis Hotel” on Second Road in North Pattaya from Saturday 30th January and after 2-weeks of sales experience, there is a further 1-1/2 days of training, then a similar routine is repeated.
