A Garland Merchant Arrested After Dealing Crystal Meth

SATTAHIP – May 27, 2013 [Pattaya Daily News]; At 01.30 a.m., Mr.Phawat Lertmukda of Sattahip Police station together with Mr.Chawat Teptap, Security General Secretary, from the National Command Center for Drugs were ordered to arrest Miss Noree Sankratoke, or Jae Nong, age 42, from Nakorn Rachaseema province. When police raided her apartment to arrest her, police were able to seize 6 bags of crystal meth, each weighed 2.98 grams.

Police revealed that the arrest of the suspect was because police received information that a person who had rehabilitated from drugs. He told the police that at a certain apartment, drug dealing was happening. Police then sent out a team to raid the reported apartment. In the apartment of the woman, poice found more than 5 bags of crystal, hidden in her purse. She pledged guilty of her crime, she also told the police that she had been selling drugs for a long time now, her main job was covered by selling garland. she used her apartment to consume and sell the crystal meth.

Police also revealed that the son of the suspect had been arrested for a similar case before and that he had been sent to a rehabilitation camp. She told the authorities that she had consumed crystal meth for a long time and that she pitied her son who did not have money to buy meth, so she turned to be a drug dealer to find money for her son.

Police are now taking further measure to prosecute the drug dealer. She now is in police custody.
